Lifeline
Lifeline is a government program that offers qualified people a discount on their monthly local telephone bill. Each state has its own guidelines to qualify.
You are eligible for Lifeline if you participate in any of the following programs:
• Supplemental nutrition assistance programs (SNAP)
• Medicaid
• Supplemental Security income (SSI)
• Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
• Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension
• Income-based Eligibility
Lifeline Pricing Information
Basic telephone service with unlimited local minutes – $13.03 per month plus taxes
LOS calling service – $.97 plus $.06/min capped at $15.00
Long distance – $.13/min
Bundled services are available to lifeline customers. Please call our office for more information.
Application Instructions
To apply, please download and complete the Lifeline application. Once the application is complete, bring it to our office at 110 West Main Street in Delcambre. Besides the application, you will also need proof of your eligibility by providing a copy of a document that verifies your participation in any of the programs mentioned above.
